14 March 2011 – The Golfer’s Terrace is our go-to place for quick meals. I nearly always enjoy the local food, but their Western menu is hit and miss. Today was all miss.

The salted fish fried rice was good, as always, but that was the end of the good streak. The club sandwich contained some woefully old, dried-out meat which could have replaced the sole on my Dr Martens; while the chicken chop was so crisp, the meat was virtually indistinguishable from the breadcrumbed exterior. As Kit says, I should stick to local food. I should also listen to Kit more!
