Food Melange


3 April 2011 – Dinner on the weekend is always nearly at mum-in-law’s place. Sometimes she cooks, sometimes I bring food we’ve bought. 

This weekend was an East-and-West kind of pairing. We tried the new Pizza Hut novelty pizza – the one with tempura prawns on top. Vin thought it was strange but Kit and I both liked it because it did not feature tomato paste as the base, using instead a creamy Marinara type sauce. We also ordered safe Super Supreme for the rest.

It was the final day of the Halal Food Fair at Giant Kelana Jaya so I took Nas to buy supplementary goodies. We ended up with some otak otak, pepes ayam, and some shaped iced biscuits for Erin. All were pretty yummy.
