Chatime SSTwo Mall

The hot weather begs for a cold indulgence. Possibly a lot of people thought so to, resulting in a large crowd at the only Chatime we frequent. Most times faced with such a line, I'd just walk off, but this kiosk is owned and operated by the Kwa family, and I have come to really like them and their hard work ethic.
Line em up, slurp em down!

As such, our first drinks were a large Grass Jelly Milk Tea with less sugar for Kit. His usual tipple, and a good one, for RM6.90.
Grass jelly amid the milky tea.
I had the Honey Pomelo with aloe vera and coconut jelly. It was delish! There was pomelo peel in the drink, giving it a sharp, slight bitter bite, which is gentled by the sweetness of honey. The aloe vera was squishy and sweet, while the coconut jelly was slippery and slid down the throat with wonderful ease. Bliss for RM7.90.
Our first twosome.

Orange just ain't my thing!

My second drink was Orange QQ. The great thing about Chatime is their use of natural fruit juices. Fittingly, this orange drink was citrusy and punchy. Perhaps it was a bit too punchy for my liking, but the QQ, which is a mix of jellies, more than made up for it. Not a drink I would order again, but not too bad a waste for RM5.90, and certainly more than worth the price to see young Tim Kwa's new tatoo which cements the family value of 'Nothing in life comes easy.' Salut, Kwa clan!
